Motorcyclist dies in collision with car

A motorcyclist in his 30s has died following a collision with a car on a country road.

The victim died after his Yamaha bike crashed with a blue Peugeot 207 on Bisley Road in Stroud, Gloucestershire, on Wednesday evening.

The car was being driven by another man, Gloucestershire Police said. Despite the efforts of emergency services and members of the public who tried to assist, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers are urging anyone with relevant information to contact police.
